We are a very unique club, somewhere in between a Rec and Travel Team which is run completely by volunteers. Coaches don’t get paid; Coaches kids pay the same as everyone else. We try to keep costs to an absolute minimum which has been possible because of our parents stepping up and getting us sponsors.
‍Our reduced cost does not mean we are not serious, 3 Lions should not take second string to other sports or activities! Ultimately, we are a competitive soccer team that will only get better if we practice together. If you cannot commit to the team you should let me know now before we issue uniforms and take payment. I want us to continue to improve and that means having committed parents and players. As the squad is now larger there is competition for playing time. No boy is guaranteed playing time, that must be earned with commitment and effort. We have already won the first tournament we entered this season and my intention is that we continue in that vein being fully committed and giving 100% for the 3 Lions.

• Wear shin guards every training session. Yes, they are awkward and hot but you have to wear them during games and they may just save you from an injury. Moving forward no shin guards no training.
• GameChanger.  Please use the App to let us know if you are attending training, games or events. Everything we do has to be planned and this cannot happen when we don’t know who is attending. Everything you need to know is on this App.
• New uniforms will be in soon. Monday we wear the pink shirt, Thursday we wear aqua. I want us to look professional, these shirts have cost us a lot of money so please ensure your kid is wearing the correct color every training session.
• When the new uniforms arrive, we are going to have an old shirt signing day. I will bring some sharpies and the boys can sign each others shirts, should be fun!

So that’s where we are. I truly believe the events, training, games and tournament experience we give the boys can’t be beaten for the money.
